I have a 2017 Cruze with the black and white IPC. I hoped to be able to install the color display so I purchased a used one and tested it in the car. All of the steering wheel controls work correctly with the UDD IPC except the two radio volume and channel buttons on the back of the steering wheel. I did some checking and the same wheel/buttons are used with cars that have the upgraded IPC so it isn't a button difference. Our Cruze does not have the upgraded radio with the HMI (IO5 or IO6) so I'm guessing that is the problem. Just a setting in the IPC I can't seem to locate. I've change everything over from the chevy blue to GMC red except for radio display which to my understanding is the HMI. What would be my best option for getting the right theme but also all the options I currently have? The newest HMI from a GMC with that theme I've been able to find is a 2016 and a HMI 2.0 Do I need to find a GMC one and then change vin to match my truck or can my 2.5 HMI be programmed to have that theme?

Hello, Does anyone have an experience in "converting" advanced park assist to the one without blind spot monitoring? It happens that BSM modules get water damaged, and replacing them is quite costly for the most folks. It looks to me that park assist ECU is the same for UDP and UDQ systems (basically, just UDP hardware + UDQ extension on top). So, could this be converted back to simpler UDP by running configuration and/or changing calibration files? The car in question is EU Insignia.
