hi , i bought a new driver door window switch and some feature are not working and i can not see the control unit with my scanner ( xtool d7 , obdlink mx+ , carista ) from what i found it need to be program with sds tech2 , is there another way cheaper to do it ( i thru the old switch in the garbage so it is not possible to fix by replacing the switch on the old module ) and i do not have a compatible scanner with sds and since it is a amazon switch i do not know if the dealer will want to program or code it , i was a gm diagnostic technician for 15 years but it was 20 years ago so i do not have connection any more

Assuming it is a compatible switch, it needs to be programmed with a correct software / options set to function correctly.
You 100% CANNOT do this with the scan tools you have on your hands. You will need a Tech2 tool or a J2534 compatible scan tool which supports GMLAN SW-CAN bus.

Buy subscription for SPS2 reprogramming from ACDelco website and reprogram DDM & DDS modules according to vehicle's RPO codes..
You can also update any other control unit in this vehicle, because SPS2 subscription is only valid for 2 hours - so you may get the most from the money you've paid.
