Hello, I'm wondering if it is possible to auto-engage parking brake when the transmission shift lever is moved to P position.

In my vehicle - Insignia-A facelift 2015 the parking brake automatically disengages when I shift from P and I would like this functionality to work in the opposite direction too 🙂

Maybe one of you have this feature working in a GM vehicle?

Not option for auto engage.

If you turn off the handbrake button completely
or break one of the button chains
then everything will work automatically
but there will be errors in the block

just a timer relay triggered by park position switch(shift lever not on inhibitor) to activate park brake signal,, easy to use china power door lock module,, juast change capacitor for desired trigerring time..
