DPS VIN & PIN Change Service For General Motors Vehicle Modules

This service is for folks who need to change the VIN and the PIN in a used secondhand General Motors electronic vehicle module, which is not already listed in the downloads section.

I strive to send you a private message with the DPS VIN or PIN change file between 30 minutes to a few hours, depending on your purchasing time and where I am located at the given time.

DPS VIN Change Service

You will receive a DPS archive file which can be used to change the VIN in any of these modules listed below.

Supported Global-A 2 or 5 byte seed modules.

IPC: Instrument panel cluster

BCM: Body control module

EBCM: Electronic brake control module
SDM: Sensing diagnostic module (Airbag)

EPS: Electronic power steering

ECC: Electronic Climate Control HVAC

In order to create the DPS VIN change file, you will need to provide the vehicle model name, the year the vehicle was made and the module's SPS utility calibration file.

I was thinking which vin number to give...

I have a car with all its original modules and not starting. Decided to buy all modules from an accident damaged car which was starting but couldn't manage to get the ebcm and tcm. So since you said the tcm vin can't be changed I'm thinking is it possible to change the ecm, cluster and bcm from the donor car to my vin?

I have the rcdlr and transponder as well, from the donor car. Is that going to work.

The car is a 2015 Chevrelot Captiva 2.2d

Hi Troy. I am building a custom truck with 2013 SS camaro interior, I have been able to program my BCM and ECM with SPS2. I need to change the VIN and PIN in my Gauge cluster. I would also like to turn off some of the errors. (Service electronic power steering, Service blind spot, Service air bag , Etc... Can you write a file for me to use in DPS to do this? The HyperJuice MBP 1.5-222 MacBook power bank battery is OK, though the USB-C Magic Box V2 is rubbish and a waste of money. It stopped working and was replaced under warranty twice in the same year. Whatever electronic parts are used or circuit design is not good. A simple fix is to use a 100W car cigarette port USB C charger to make an adaptor for my MacBook.
