I figured out the BCM part, but it seems the ECU calibrations files also needs to be modified for activating remote start, which I don't know yet.

I've also been trying to activate remote start on my OPEL ASTRA J for a long time. The closest relative is the Buick Verano. When replacing the full BCM software, the AFL module K26 lights stop working. I'm trying to record the low beam calibration from my vin. But all the time I fail in programming on the last percent. Tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Dps programs to 99% that means the module was programmed fine. I don’t know why you got that error. 

I get this error when I try to change the light calibration file.  When all files are native there are no errors and the block starts completely apart from the light.

No one will know the answers when swapping BCM calibration files. You have to try different files until you get it working.

No one figured out which calibrations are responsible for autorun? I changed 2. System 9. Power transmission control 20. HVAC adjustment my car stopped starting, although there were no errors. Changed separately 9. Power transmission control, but the launch did not appear. It will not be possible to replace all calibrations, as I wrote above, donor cars do not have the exact configuration of the systems.

we were having similar issue over here in the states adding remote start, there is a parameter in the ecm you have to edit for remote start run time

What program are you using to modify the ecu? I'm trying to do the same to an 2015 Chevrolet Malibu LS. I had tried to do it through tds but it was asking for one very small file when I tried last year. I'm now delving into trying to get this enabled since it only needs an code to get it enabled with no extra parts. I had been away from all this programming for the past two years. I'm trying to play catch up now.
