Ok, I see it is you, PLSA, always digging on me for not sharing everything I know about GM electronics to everyone for free. Was your comment regarding EMMC pinouts? I am sure I gave you those pinouts for FREE. Was your comment regarding me charging a price for my customs DPS files?

Last year in March, I knew nothing about GM electronics, not a dame thing. I spent my time reading every single piece of information I could find on the web about GM electronics, which was limited. I sign up for that mhhauto.com forum seeking information. Instead of getting help from the members on that forum. I got attacked for asking questions. Not you nor anyone on that forum stood up for me when I was being attacked.
Every file I created and put up for sale on this website can be created by anyone who has the determination to learn and figure things out. I will not hand everything I know about GM electronics on a plate to lazy and selfish people of which, some of those same people who attack me on mhhauto.com are now coming to my website/my network to gain information.

Are you able to supply the utility calibration file for that module?

Thanks for that file. I checked but I can't create a file for this radio.

I may need to get one of those radio for the bench for more research and experiments.

The Screens in the Insignia A, B and Mokka doesn't store a VIN. They are not connected to the Can bus line.

Your car must have some other issue which you need to solve.

OK, let me start off by saying thank you for sharing all of this.

I have a US model GMC Sierra Denali with the IOT radio. The 2019s were limited options compared to the later years of these trucks. Firstly, in 2021, they came out with the IOU radio which has (i believe) wireless car play built in the radio module. Correct me if I am wrong. Secondly, it only had a 5 channel Video Control module and if you had the technology package, you wouldn't get the invisible camper when towing option.

I have procured a 10 channel VCM (part number 84743036) and what I believe is an IOU HMI module (part number 84989265 and has MY21HIGH on the label. My hopes are that I can install both of these in my truck and gain some options that weren't available to me when I bought the truck in 2019.

My questions for you are

1. how are you interfacing with the modules and how can I buy the cables needed to install the files you are making.

2. which file would I need to remove or change the VIN on the new module that I procured.

3. Do you know if the VCM is VIN locked and will I be able to use it in my truck? I also bought a 3rd brake light that has the 2 cameras (1 for the bed and 1 for the mirror monitor) I would liek to get the bed camera functionality also.

Hi, I don't have any knowledge of the different radio options for USA vehicles. Maybe someone who knows will respond.

My questions for you are

For programming the vehicles, you need a GM diagnostic interface eg. Drewtech Mongoose pro-GM2 or GM3, or the official genuine GM MDI2 interface. You can then use the DPS software with calibration files to manually program the modules. To get the options you need onto the used radio, you need to find a VIN that already has those options activated, then use the GM SPS service to program those calibration files onto the radio. Do a youtube search for GM SPS to find out more information about it.

If the radio is from a global-A vehicle and looks the same as below, you can use DPS and this file to change the VIN.

Hi, I don't know if it works on your radio. This file works on the radio, as stated in the listing. Radio ID is 80.
