Anyone knows how to activate reverse gear in BCM/HMI 2.5 on bench? I want to activate reverse gear in BCM or HMI so I can see reverse camera displaying on the HMI 2.5 and screen, when connect to a bench setup.

Using DPS and my custom DPS files, you will be able to change the VIN number in the BCM module. This is great when needing to replace the BCM module with a used part. Hi all, I have extensive experience with programming on Chrysler products. I recently bought a 2021 Camaro, and I'm trying to get up to speed on the GM stuff. I've found that there are very few people willing to share knowledge on the subject, so I was very glad to find Troy's posts and this website. I was hoping to start by trying to add some RPO codes to my radio, but have hit a wall. First, I'm not sure if the 2021 even has the ability to be configured using XML files. If it can, it appears I can't get the files because everything in my car is up-to-date. Anyone have any ides/thoughts? Thanks!

Hi, I would like to create a bench setup. I have a spare 2010 Insignia car with dead engine so I want to build something I can program parts, radio etc without using my working car. I did this with a vectra years ago, it needed the BCM, CIM & 12v+ and - connecting to each unit and plugs to the IPC, DIAG Port, Radio etc with everything looped for CANH, CANL so GM lan could talk to each unit. Is the insignia different? I know I will need the BCM but what else will I need from the donor car? Any help is good help and appreciated. Hello. Does anyone have Hmi cali file for HMI2.5 without onstar but with AA and bose system. I've tried all calibration files I've got and what I downloaded from Troy's zip. But no luck. Issue im having is when connected to AA everything works except for Bluetooth sound and microphone.

Didnt know if anyone could help with this. I have a BCM that is sort of stuck in key programming, when key is on it first says "ready to learn key 2" Has code B26FC-00 which says I believe to replace the BCM. But when ever I try to use techline connect before I pull the old module I always get this error "E4399" and that is on any module I try to program because I tried PCM after I was having issues with the BCM. Techline connect pulls all info from car no problem like vin model etc. I would like to try dps maybe but currently just dont have the funds as I have been off for 2 weeks with the covid.

I bought a 2020 Chevy Silverado in 2019 and just noticed that they implemented wireless Android Auto & Apple Carplay for the 2021 models. I'm wondering if everything is integrated into the HMI unit. The wireless function operates off of Wifi, which my truck already has. The plugs are exactly the same. Anyone know if everything is contained in the HMI? I will be picking up a used module from the local recycler and doing some probing.
