Hello everyone. I'm JBL_1989 from korea. I own chevrolet malibu gen 8th 2014 with 2.0L diesel engine (LBS - A20DTH). I'm not working in automotive industry but just one of hobbyist on vehicle configuration modding. I'm interested in retrofit on comfort system and lighting system. currently working on fixing poor tunnel detection system - sensitivity adjustment / decreased delay timer to make system similar with regular korean HKMC vehicle. (GM did not tuned system for korean environment)

My abilities are endless.I started being interested in this hacking stuff after watching a 80s movie called Wargames so I decided to try the two things taught in that movie: 1) to hack my school's computer network, and 2) piss on a spark plug. I succeeded at both. Since then I have been interested in all this sort of stuff, hacking by modem, hacking by internet, soldering, desoldering, checksum calculations, and everything in between such as the things Troy talks about here.

Hello everyone! I'm John from the USA, I have a number of GM products (J300, VE, and Alpha platforms) that I tinker with on a regular basis from simple OEM+ modifications to engine and transmission swaps. I'm always learning and happy to share what I do know when I can.

Thought I'd introduce myself, I spent a good number of years working on Vauxhall/Opel, hence gained a lot of knowledge, as well as cracked some interesting features. I still own a couple of vauxhall/opel vehicles that I often done a few upgrades! Started with Corsa E OPC, added a nice number of retrofits on it right now. Also own Astra K and Insignia A that I've done a small number of retrofits. Always happy to help with any retrofit / programming.

Hi Everyone, I have an Opel Astra J GTC 1.6 turbo in Australia that i have been modifying. Currently have a UHS cluster from a ZB commodore, have activated the Sport button for engine, and Upgraded the Head unit to the Newer Mylink version . Currently looking at learning and upgrading more things. I have access to lots of other vehicles when i can too.

Hi all, Im Camelot from Balkans. I found myself here while searching for modifications for my own car. I have plenty of experience on old opel models of up to intrducion of Global A platform. Due to limitations of online SPS, my knowledge stopped there, eventhougt i bought 1 year SPS access twice , i ended up working only one month 🤣. Anyhow this is just a passion for me as i work on IT field. No garage own. I will try to learn and contribute as much as i can. As the best!

Hi, I'm Arbe, from Spain I have an astra H from 2008, and in 2019 bought a Astra K. For the H, i learned some useful thing, unlock cd30, cdc40 opera and more radios, reset speedometer and milleage to 0, enable the needle sweep, unlock gid, cid, bid, UHPs, upgrade GIDS and CIDs from 2 line to 3 and more. With the K, was insane and i learned much more!! i'm not work in a dealer/workshop, and this it's only a hobby.

hi everybody, what a Wonderfull nerdy and skilled site I found on my journey to replace / upgrade / do whatever it takes (without paying extreme costs) to upgrade my Opel zafira C Tourer Facelift Model 2017 (Build October 2016) Navi 950 EU to something or somehow with "Carplay" support. I'm good with electronics, computers, terminals and following instructions 🙂 hope to find some new insights here 🙂
