Insignia 2014 Retrofit TPMS

Featured Replies

Does anyone know how to supress the warning on my 8 inch IPC until I resolve this issue? tried !UJN and !UJM in BuildRecord but it doesn't work.

Probably possible to edit the appropriate DID however I don't know which one.

Below is some info from GDS2 that may give some clues.

I put up the TPMS diagnostic log in UJM, the sensors were trained and then removed. I see the same error codes as you. I want to remind you that the lifetime of the TPMS sensor is up to 6 years (original), made in China it is up to 4 years (it died even after a year).

Calibration and Setup issue.

Setup BCM? Note  error b389a.

I will not argue. For me if all is wired correctly and sensors working is a calibration issue. And after any module programming is good to be executed Setup and Configuration to allow module to be properly reset.

That's what I thought so I got 23134628.xml but it throws a security access error and won't proceed. Maybe needs SPS to do it.

the chances of all 4 sensors being faulty is slim, must be the wrong TPMS ECU?

Tried running SPS on it (thanks @Lyubomir Krastanov) it gave me option of UJM I said no, same result so ran again and said yes, same result.

Running out of ideas, can't even supress the error in the IPC as I don't think it's an option.

I done some research on this code, seems to be an enviromental ID mismatch.  The IPC and TPMS module were used everything else was original.  I then remebered that I haven't yet relearned my transponder keys to new IPC so though maybe realearning the keys might help.

The IMMO relearn file I have is meant to relearn Environment IDs so though that might allow TPMS to communoicate with the BCM so I fired up IMMO Type4 file in DPS but it keeps crashing so couldn't complete.  I forgot that that has never worked for me despite messings with DLL files etc in the past.

So i have removed b389a by realearning the keys.  I have also traced and checked the wiring and can confirm power and continuity to BCM X6 Pin 9 for the module.

Only thing it can be surely is Bad/Wrong module or wrong software?

was this a working installation that you simply deleted the sensors from to recreate my errors?

The summer tires was  sensors  learns.  Later the winter tires were learns, but failed because the batteries of three sensors failed. Then I got the codes.
