@codebuilder is it possible to have differences in Operational Software calibrations? Even is same number? So can you compare him OS and donor OS file?

Did you write that application yourself? Looks very handy!

I did!  Lyubomir made a good point.  There’s some routines in the utility.  And also, make sure you’re using the OS for yours as he mentioned too.  I’m hoping one of those two mods does it though.  I’ll try on my vehicle after too and see if I can narrow it down.

hopefully one of those mods does it though

Excellent might have a go at one myself I used to be a developer a long time ago, what did you code it in?

As far as utility file goes I just swapped out 3rd file from my cals. Don't think I ever got a full set for W0LGT8EM4E1123090.

So I checked the utility files they are identical so must be the one I used or they are identical for both cars.  I will rebuild the cal and see if that changes anything and try your mods tomorrow.

I learn from TIS always after system update to execute Setup and Configuration as this put configure newer calibrations. Your modules still contain old Setup and may be that mess up.

Maybe, as it contains 23134628.xml which is human readable and usually give lots of clues.

It makes it so quick and easy 😄

So today I knocked up a basic VBA macro as a proof of concept to recalculate checksums after editing using the calculation methods below, my macro comes to the same answer every time however I think the method below is wrong as DPS always fails to upload any ammended files.

I know you have a working checksum calculator, do you mind sharing the maths used?

OS and Calibration mixing issue in my eyes. I never seen it (vehicle icon)

It happened when applying the correct calibrations for the car after applying a newer 2016 IPC update, it also stopped cruise control from working.

I assume the calibration values are in different places on the newer firmware? a 2016 never had the LBS engine though as far as i know so might need to customise with XML

Do you have both sets of calibrations?  I can do a quick compare for you.

No only the originals I'll try to obtain ones that align with new firmware

So i never did get this working, i assumed it was due to my cluster, however i have now changed out the cluster.

When i originally stated @codebuilder that my car was misbehaving with the calibrations from W0LGT8EM4E1123090 it turns out that was not a fault of the calibrations, it was that I needed to relearn brake pedal position, I reapplied them and did the relearn and been solid since then.  Hence why it was hesitant on accelaration and brake lights came on when parked.....

However even with these calibrations and a new cluster with TPMS it doesn't work.  When i try to learn the sensors with GDS2 it either says "out of range" or "lost communication with module" when i press and hold the steering wheel button on the TPMS menu instead of doing the learn procedure (should it?) it does nothing.

Looking back at what @Lyubomir Krastanov said maybe you were right I should run the XML file afterwards if anyone has 23134628.xml ?
