Yes the file will work fine on that HMI 2.5 module.

I have a question. I have a Cadillac XTS Platinum. the car had a 2.0 HMI, I replaced the HMI with 2.5,. I ran the DPS with a radio and VIN relearn, using the files you attached, and it worked fine and removed the theft lock. but the microphone doesn't work for phone calls.

What is the reason and what is the solution?

Note: When reinstalling the 2.0 HMI, the microphone works!

After investigation, it was revealed that my vehicle is not equipped with an OnStar Module (VCIM – Vehicle Communication Interface Module). The OnStar connection to the radio/HMI... The radio or HMI communicates with the OnStar module via the GMLAN network.

Therefore, when you change the radio or HMI (especially the HMI 2.5), some functions, such as the microphone and voice commands, may be affected if they are not properly aligned or programmed, because the audio passes through OnStar before the HMI. This means that the primary microphone is not directly connected to the HMI, but rather is used in conjunction with OnStar, Bluetooth, and Voice Commands. 😔 So I need a hmi firmware upgrade without OnStar to fixed mic and The firmware upgrade as @Last_Captain says, can be necesary to the audio of carplay and android auto works.

How do I get the correct calibration?
