Are using a mobile phone to view the video?

An mp4 video file is included in the hmi vin change file. After purchasing and downloaded, extract the zip file, you will see the how to video file, which should be viewable on your PC.

If you’re able to collect the airbag calibration files from the sps cache folder, I could use them to make a vin change file for the airbag module. 
Unfortunately my car’s airbag modules doesn’t shows up in sps so I can’t get those files. 

No I need the programming calibration files that gets saved in C:\Users\your user name\sps\spsCache\spsCacheInternal

Here is the tutorial to get the calibration files, The tutorial was made using GM's older discontinued SPS client, it's the same procedure with the new GM techline connect.

The vin change files can be used on other cars that uses the same modules.

I can create BCM vin change files, but I can't create ECM and Hvac vin change files.

Troy, I just mastakenly bought this file thinking it was for upgrading hmi 2.0 to 2.5. Does such a file actually exist?

No you cannot upgrade the actual hmi2 module to 2.5. You can upgrade interns of replacing the hmi2 module with a hmi 2.5 module.

I have a 2.0 with GPS and a 2.5 without GPS. Do you know if I can combine them to have 2.5 with GPS?

I didn’t know there was an hmi2.5 without gps. Maybe possible if it has the gps electronics and antenna port. Can you post photo of the hmi2.5 connector side?

Yeah, it’s missing the gps antenna plug. The gps section isn’t modular. Your best option would be to source an hmi2.5 that has the gps option.

Hi, the VIN change file only activates and instruct both the radio and HMI to learn the VIN that's stored in the BCM, no alteration is done on the modules.

Did your car came with a HMI 2.0 or the HMI 2.5?

No need for a new one. What you need to do is use GM SPS service to program the HMI module. The used HMI has the calibration settings for the car it came out of, so now you need to add your car's calibration settings to the HMI via the GM SPS programming.

That's a weird one, You say no sound. Is it no sound from the radio or no sound at all from any options. Try and see if you can get sound from radio stations, sat nav, or media files like an mp3 or mp4 video via the USB stick. Need to figure out if it's the radio module or the HMI is the issue for the no sound.
