Need some help trying to recalibrate a XT4 2020 that has Harman 3.5 Global A, have all on bench and have the calibration files for it , i used the DPS arcive creator v2 to make the arcive but when programing i get error all the time once it just starts.

I have cominucation with the module with DPS Global A pin 6/14

Is it not possible to make a archive to the harman units with the dps archive creator tool?

Thx strange that i can get all the controller info on pin 6/14 in DPS, i got this unit used so not 100% sure its from a XT4 PN is 84799330, if i try pin 1 i get no info at all

Do you know if the DPS archive creator V2 works on 3.5-3.6 calibrations ?

I have bench setup with Harman 3.5 + display but no BCM ALL WORKS FINE ,but i dont know if the archive is okay as i used the dsp archive tool and maybe therfore i cant to do the programming?? as i know the tool is for HMI 2.5 dont know if it works with Harman 3.x calibrations?

This radio works on CAN 6/14 and most likely dps archive tool creates wrong zip. What error do you get while programming? Also you can check if archive is done correctly in dps.

Thx for trying , wonder why its not working here , using hmi 3.5 + display with obd harness and have connection and all is working , have DPS 4.46 set to Global A and 6/14 pin , have tried MDI and also another J2354?

Here is the programlog.txt file if anyone can see what the problem is why i cant program the unit with the XT4 archive?

Using DPS 4.46 with MDI 1 selected Global A and 6/14 pin (unit is xt4 2020 csm 3.5 Harman so Global A unit , i can read the controller info but can not program with the archive thats tested and working by other member.

Bench setup with only HMI 3.5 + Display and obd, the setup is turned on and working on bench

To my understanding gateway is not needed for Global A units ? only for Global B units

No you need the gateway for this

Ok thx for the info , i can see there are one for global A (saw one from Insignia)and one for Global B (saw from C8 corvette) and they dont look the same, so i will need a Global A gateway when i program the HMI 3.5 Global A right? or can i use same gateway for both A and B cars? will i need a BCM also if i only want to program the HMI unit ?
