Harman 3X Calibration info

OK. I got EU calibrations.
Initially I though the A11 module is on PIN 1 ID 80 and I could connect to it but did not get any info.
During programming it failed says something that it cannot find ECU or unable to connect to it.
So I used PIN 6 and 14 and same ID 80 and I got HARMAN information, so I started programming on that pins.
At about 60% programming failed but I seen Russian languages on gauges which gave me some hope.
But the CUE is now locked saying: "Calibrations required on some devices..."
So I picked my backup file, OEM and it failed at 95%.
Language went back to English but the CUE is still locked with the same message?

What am I supposed to do now, try SPS to unlock it?

Post your logs if you can otherwise we're guessing.

Hi, can you send me the files. I can check it here on the bench

Meanwhile, I managed to recover my radio using SPS2.
Initially, it obtained calibration for my original VIN and restored the factory settings — which was good, as the radio started working as before.

Next, I programmed the EU calibration (the one that had failed before) one more time. It progressed to 95% before failing again. Then I tried SPS with an EU VIN number — luckily, SPS allowed me to use that VIN.
This time everything succeeded.

The radio worked on all frequencies, I could choose many more languages (including Polish), and everything functioned perfectly.
However, the calibration I used (with the EU VIN) had limited functionality:

  • Built-in navigation was missing (even though I had already inserted the 2024 EU maps, which work fine on the US system/software).

  • The 360° camera recorder was missing.

So, I restored the system back to the US version using the same method.
I programmed the calibrations from backup (which still failed at 95%), then used SPS to fix those calibrations — and now the radio is fully restored to the US version.

The fact that they didn't provide a log, I just gave up lol. And they ignored me. This is on them.

@ Codebuilder, Have you for the hmi 3.5 files for a EU Car?

The one I have does not have satnav and 360 recorder option. So I keep searching

The last time I'll say it for you, post the frickan logs! You're trying to do something outside of the box, put the damn logs in here. 95% means nothing, otherwise, stop wasting our time.

Mate I posted a solution to my problem already... I hope this would be useful to members that could face the same issue with programming error and locked CUE.
So no need to waste your time re log exploring, as I fixed it.
Thanks

Sorry, I thought it was still outstanding :). I misunderstood. Glad it's fixed!

No problem :) The log file does not show any errors BTW.
The only think I spotted is that one file is missing from the archive during programming.
You maybe curious so I've attached it anyway :)

Yeah, you're right! It was sending back positive transfer and download commands. Just a guess as I don't have the calibrations, was there by chance a different OS in one of them? I know some calibrations do have country codes and such.

Overall though, you were able to get the EU frequencies and languages working?

When it failed at 95%, the language switched to Russian, but the Cue screen became locked with a message saying something like, "Calibration required for more devices."

After that, I purchased an SPS license. Using a foreign EU VIN, I was able to reprogram the radio, and everything started working — including the frequencies and languages.

However, some options were still missing, such as navigation and the 360° video recorder (though the 360° cameras themselves were present). I could live without navigation since I have Android Auto, but the 360° video recorder is a must-have for me.

So, I decided to roll back to the OEM calibrations.

Next, we will try to obtain and load calibrations from another EU model — this time with the Platinum package.

if you have the calibraton of two compared vin,, it can swap only calibration you want to change without affecting other calibration,, sample calibration no.4, just replace only no.4, others intact.

How do I know which calibration is responsible for what?
For example frequencies?
Sorry for silly question but I'm quite new to this subject.

The calibrations change a lof of things

In the number 5, you have the languages, AM-fm step, wireless carplay...

If you uncompress 2 times the calibrations, you can see the plain text configuration

Hi, can you pack the edited xml file into a calibration file?

I recorded the EC calibration, but the wireless carplay isn't working. Is there a way to fix this?
