That's what it should have done, and definitely your VIN?   You didn't use a friends VIN or anything right?

Yes sir my VIN and only my VIN, I called techline connect assistance in Europe today to explain my issue. No one is able to explain me the issue, I think about a compatibilty problem between SPS2 (latest cal.) and my module. I ask them to send me an older calibration to download my module. To be in the same shape like before trying to update with the latest cal...

I also try to call AC delco helpdesk in US and when I explain my issue, the guy cut the phone ...super service from them.....

It *is* possible that your device is having an issue programming similar to our SDGM one Lyubomir and I were helping someone with.  Let me try to package this and I'll get you to try with DPS again and then get me the DPS log.

2G1F91EW0D9105970-EPS.zip Load up DPS, Select that archive, I don't know if it's on the low speed (pin 1 - 33.3kbps) or high speed (pin 6 & 14 - 500kbps) but try high speed first and see.  If it gets as far as OP CODE 10, pull the DPS log for me and post it here.  If it fails right away, try the other bus.  I can't remember off the top of my head which one it's on.

I did a trace on SPS, it looks like it's on the HS bus.

the SEED of the part has changed
this could only happen for two reasons
  1 EEPROM was destroyed during programming
  2 are two different parts

I spotted that too........  that's why I asked, is it the same module?   Something is very strange here.

That reffer to ecm/tcm and they have different structure and procedures.

As expected. Issue coming from calibration file. That file is not stated in SPS info. No idea how Techline have distributed this for you.

 Hi, the only part I swapped on this car was to put a brand new (from GM official) blank BCM and program it via SPS2.

 

Because an erratic functionning from the BCM about exterior lightning.

The programming was a success with the new bcm (the power steering was working normally).

 

The EPS module was on the car when I bought it, no swap from me and when I got the car the Power steering was working normally before trying to reflash it to get an update cal.

The only other strange things I remarked after putting the new bcm and programmed it, is that when I started the car I have 2 messages in the driver center info  that I never saw before : 

- Service adaptative cruise control

- Service Active steering system

 

There is no Adaptative cruise control and no Active steering on this car ??? it's on GEN 6 Camaro not GEN 5 like mine.

 

Perhaps my EPS reflash issue is "linked" to this trouble ?

 

Perhaps SPS2 send a wrong update files (like the GEN 6 Camaro or newer ) in the BCM and after that automatically when in trying to reflash the EPS, he send a wrong file which is incompatible with this kind of steering module ?

but how it got there is very interesting
do you have the same file numbers
but only before you unzipped them for DPS
look in the SPSCACHE folder

Check him VIN in SPS info and will see where that Calibration part file is not listed. Him use Techline (AcDelco). Him suppose to use PSA
