  • I can tell you that ACC is definitely in one of the CALs as well as the XML.  Did you use the original CALs or are you upgrading the cluster?  If you need, send me your CALs (or give me your VIN that

    It fills the VIN in once doing the writing *IF* the utility sends it (not all do).  For example, the HMI and Radio, you don't need to do this as it sends a different command.

    I used to do the same 🙂

I not into US car Models but

3GTU2NEC7HG410572 = 2017 GMC Sierra 1500

3GCUKSEC5EG259998 = 2014 Chevy Silverado 1500

is that right?

Is there a chance something is wrong with this cluster? Is not even allowing me to program it with the same calibrations.

I found it odd that the OS is not the same:

Ok, this makes sense now.  You can use it but cluster is obviously a different algorithm.  You need the calibrations for that particular cluster.  The OS, etc is likely going to be different, especially since the algorithm is.  If you were successful, the cluster probably would have gone dark (but it's not killed).  Can you get me the VIN the cluster had?  Also, what was the original vehicle?

Robi_X pointed out the big hint there too.  The cluster isn't the identical year so you can't use the vehicles VIN calibrations on it, you need to use the clusters VIN.  We may have fun matching up the calibrations but I should be able to get it for you.

The programming never went through. Im having the same VIN since the cluster arrived. The vin the cluster has is the original. I may program the cluster with ori calibrations from SPS2 and lost the $45 to see if something changes compared to original.

I found something...

This calibrations are from UHS speedometer (i checked my saved files), and the CC/CB 23390930 is a Part number of UHS.

But this VIN not have UHS... it have a UDD

image.png.2080e58b96a045691d240227020f07b3.png

UDD and UHS have different Security access. Then, there is the problem.

Now, why the vin 10572 have a UHS???

Are you trying install this: (UDD)

image.jpeg.73f6f20532a494658c2d7e122f5193eb.jpeg

Or this? (UHS)

Lister, sorry I was taking a different approach.  I could already tell the calibrations were for the wrong cluster but I was trying to help you learn on this.  I was away for a bit but I didn't want to give away the obvious answer in hopes to help you learn.  I'm glad it's solved though!  Glad ARBE_GTC got you sorted.

It would be a good idea to try to start by saying, I have put this type of instrument panel. 😆
