I've got a longer video that I was having trouble uploading which shows the high beams shutting down automatically once I hit an urban setting, but I get errors when I try to upload it.

For comparison's sake, the effect I see looks a lot like this video:

It's not the most dramatic thing in the world, seemingly.

I can certainly try to reprogram the FCM and see if that does anything with my current configuration.

High beam should be on at all the time and oncoming traffic should be cut out from the beam by dimming or turning off LED elements. It is hard to tell from the video what it is actually doing.

Need to have blue indicator for High beam on display. That is on mine vehicle when is active. See picture for reference what I meanIMG_7161.thumb.jpeg.3f9e68eff6beece9a3ba4f72e5868095.jpeg

I'm going to see if I can record a video of how it works on my Astra K, it's the same. Green icon Activated, and the blue icon for high beams on as well. If it detects light from streetlights, it deactivates. and when there is total darkness again, the system is activated again.

Except for the high beam icon switching on, that is exactly how the setup operates on my car.  Enough ambient light and it'll shut off the high beams altogether, and then back on when it's dark enough.

Watch this video on Streamable.

It's quite pronounced starting at about :20 or so - high beam indicator stays on throughout, but the left hand lights visibly stay low for oncoming traffic and snap back to high once cleared.

3. What DID is that?

@WSOpel I'd love to add traffic signs to my insignia, but have wrong camera.  Apparently it can be done as a maps only but when I enable UVX in my IPC it doesn't do anything.

If it doesn't involve a new windscreen I could change camera.

Hello @a b, I know this thread is old, but I would like to get the matrix leds working on my 2019 Buick regal sportback. Does the hcm,fcm and bcm need custom programming? Also does the auto high beam indicator need enabled in the ipc? Any advice or calibration files would be appreciated.   Thanks in advance.

Send the VIN of the car in which you want to run Matrix LED. I am converting halogen lamps to Matrix in Astra K and Insignia B

My cars vin is W04GR6SX6K1011352. The car has led headlights from factory, also has camera in the windsheild. I think it just needs software modified to make the Matrix leds work.
