This DPS file can change the PIN CODE in the Malibu 5-Byte Seed SDM AirBag modules.
Without a pin code change in a used IPC, BCM, EBCM, and SDM you won’t be able to program those modules via GM online SPS service using the vehicle’s original PIN.
Important
In order to change the PIN code in a used GM module, you will need to know the PIN code that’s already programmed/stored in that module. Without knowing that PIN code, you cannot change the PIN code in the modules using DPS. You have to wait 12 minutes for the PIN code programming procedure to be completed by DPS.
Methods for knowing the PIN CODE stored in a used module.
Connect the used module to DPS, then use the "get Controller Info" option to know the VIN stored in the module.
You can then use this VIN to PIN service to know the PIN CODE stored in the used module.

Note: Some SDMs installed in GM vehicles do not allow VIN change, particularly in the Chevrolet Malibu.

You can use this DPS file to change the VIN in GM Global-A cars SDM AirBag module that uses the 2-byte seed.
For Insignia-A and Buick Regal 2-byte seed SDM.
Note: Some SDM installed in GM vehicles do not allow VIN change, particularly in the Chevrolet Malibu, Impala 2015.

You can load any HMI 2.5 calibration onto any HMI 2.5, and it will work. However, some features may not be available or may be specific to other cars. But it will work. -
Most likely not, these calibration files are only going to work for a vehicle with the same HMI part number and similar RPO codes. -
I understand this is old, but to help future users, the calibration numbers for your specific vehicle are highly dependent on the vehicle options, build date, etc. It is likely that the vehicle these files are based on has different options than yours if the calibration numbers are significantly different.
