Do you have the calibration files you used? Not sure on Siri as I use Android Auto but can enable touchpad if you post files here.

I am very newbie. So I don't know much. But I can do it if I know the method. I don't have any equipment 😞 I'm researching what I can do and how I can do it. I ask people on the forum, they say you can buy it from GM online sps. I'm just a user. I want to do something to my own vehicle.

You need the equipment to write to the vehicle a VCXNano or similar, can be done remotely but not without that.

You need a special file to learn the vin to your car, can also be done my sending raw commands.

 

Easy way is to purchase the vin learn file from this website.

How can I get my HMI calibration files? You would also look into my problem with the voice control button (for siri) on my steering wheel after the HMI 2.5 upgrade. did you look at?

I meant to write back, I can't download for your region :(.  They need to be downloaded from SPS.

Did you load any calibrations when you did the 2.5 upgrade or did you just unlock it?

yes, He did apple carplay rear view camera. I don't know if this is calibration or not. I had it done by a coder. but he had no idea about the voice command button on steering wheel and touchpad. That's why I'm researching it myself.

That makes more sense now.  Do you have GDS2?  If so, can you pull the "Identification" tab and we might be able to see what we have that's close?

🙂 I'm just a user. I have my own vehicle and no equipment yet. maybe I could get a VCXNANO but I don't know if it's needed just for that.

Will pull calibrations for you tomorrow. But you will need vxnano or mdi or scanmatik2 to program car. When I upload them here @codebuilder can flip Touchpad for you. About Voice control require IPC and Radio to be updated and Configured.

First of all, thank you for your and @codebuilder interests. I also changed the radio, but I don't know if there is an update or not. There is a silverbox radio software update file here, but I don't know if it will solve my problem with the voice button (Siri) on the steering wheel. How can we update and configure?
