Hi, i have Opel Astra K MY2019 with 1.4T (LE2) D14XFL 125KM S&S GPF engine. I would like to convert it to (hardware the same) D14XFT 150KM version. As i know 125KM is a software limit on GM LE2 engine. I checked a few VIN's of almost the same cars (MY2019, equipment, S&S, GPF, etc.) with 125KM LE2 and 150KM LE2 engines and there is only difference between two calibrations.

The question is, if I put calibrations from D14XFT to my D14XFL, then i get 150KM LE2 engine version in my Astra K or there are other differences in E88 ECM EEPROM/Flash memory?

You can flash different calibration files - easily.

You will also need need to reconfigure ECU after programming, otherwise you will have DTC for incorrect ECU software. If this is gonna be possible (to change the engine type/power) - that is the question!

I did not had such luck with standard tools (DPS or SPS2) recently with a Delphi E87 unit.. It looks like it can be programmed only once (via XML file).

So, you can try, but also you can fail.

There will be no issues to go back to your stock calibrations if you fail.
