hi every one i hope you all doing well..!! i have question can some one please correct me? i have Sierra GMC 2015 this car HVAC module damaged now i want to install used 1 in this car and i also have PIN for this used module my question is how can i able to program it with techline connect using vehicle original VIN? first of all i need to change the module PIN? in DPS security code 1 should be the donor module pin? and security code 2 any pin what ever i want or vehicle original pin? so my main Goal is to program module online with vehicle original VIN .... thanks All members

Code 2 - donors PIN. Code 1 - vehicle PIN.

hi thanks for your reply ... when i watch troy pin change video he showed security code 1 must be which is inside the module and security code 2 what you want to put into module i mean original vehicle VIN that's why i am confused check the video thanks again..

I'm just citing GM guidelines for an utility files:


If you have Troy's PIN files - they can be set up differently. Use the guides that come with those files, if there any.

The pin change procedure for HVAC to me not was successfully

in my experience, the best way to change pin and vin in HVAC modules, its use the Type4 removal

did you try to re`uest VCI for programming 2nd hand module? As well Pin1 in DPS should be vehicle (target) pin and Pin2 should be donor part PIN. May be you can share VIN as we can see what is available?

hi this is the VIN 3GTU29EC1GG112413 actually customer purchased brand new HVAC module but other workshop program it online with techline using BCM Vin unfortunately the BCM was sierra BCM and orignal car is GMC yukon when they program it online using bcm sierra VIN now rear hvac not working properly so i want to unlock this module and program it with actual VIN which is Yukon vin.. and yes i tried to put in dps security code 1 this hvac pin and security code 2 vehicle orignal pin but still i cant program it online
