do you know the steps, how to do it? in the absence of Readme file, I am not sure, how to proceed.

Is really a SD card needed or it will work also with USB stick?

You need an hmi 2/2.5 system to upgrade. Plug the USB with the upgrade files onto the car, and in the screen you show a update available

Is there any recommended size of the USB flash drive?

256MB would be enough?

I've got various 4GB and 8GB but that's because I took a snapshot.  Is it 256MB or 256GB?  256MB can barely hold a Sierra game today :).  You need at least 8GB.

Use Sandisk Cruze Blade 64GB

Works fine for upgrades

done the update. All good, but with one observation: When Cruise Control is active, the icon is not green anymore, but only white coloured.

Don’t know man. I updated a 2014 and a 2016 IPC with those files with no issue.
Can you use sps to get the original firmware.

to get back to original version of IPC, shall SPAT be used with original cal from SPS? (and to load it with DPS)

The Cruise Icon is for ACC dose you car have this?

yes, the icon is there - visible, but remains white, even after activating the ACC. White should be, when ACC is in standby, showing the last used ACC speed. When you activate the ACC (to hold you at the selected speed), normally, it should be green, shouldn't it?
