Hello,
I've seen some Impala owners add a "Transmission Temp" and "Road Speed Sign" option in the IPC through a shop that does "some programming" They say

I thought It was just a new calibration, So I used SPS2 to get the latest calibrations installed but I didn't get these options

but I realized there were new options showing for like 3 seconds after the car started when I scrolled between the options

but then disappear 

if I selected any of them before it disappeared it doesn't change the value, like it's frozen, but if I changed the option it disappear again, not sure why it's there in the first place and why I got it in the calibration

some of them don't make any sense in my car, like "EV Charging"

It can be configured  to have them through custom software as SPS couldn't do it.

is it just a calibration file using DPS? do I need to get the original calibration files from SPS2?

You could try this one. 
 

 

My car is an LT, the LTZ has much more options that I don't have and might cause a problems I think

Do you have the config file from SPS?

SPS Debug folder, when you're doing the config on SPS. You should get these files, you can send it to me to work out for you.

I have many of those turned on in my vehicle, they should be in the XML.  If you can't find them in there, they're probably actually there and just hidden in the XML.  I do a trick where I just set the flags to turn everything on.  When you programmed it, did you not get the XML file?  I don't see it in your zip's.

is it stored in another location?

SetupAndConfig_spsDebug.zip SetupAndConfig_spsCacheInternal.zip

Configuration files usually stay in type4 app, at least there they stay in tis2web aka sps1

We don't get tis2web where I am, only Techline.  I got them for Nasser though 🙂 and I understand the menus are on now.

it is working now thanks to @codebuilder, I have "Transmission Temp" in my IPC
but I still get the weird menus show up when starting the vehicle
they show up for about 5 seconds then disappear and something like "Transmission Temp" gets deactivated, I have to activate it again from the settings for some reason
this only started happening after I updated the calibration using SPS2

Are all your modules are on the same (latest) software level?

Usually IPC, BCM, ECU and TCM need to updated at the same time for everything to be working without hiccups.

 

Here is a guidance from SPS for vehicles which had "post diesel-gate" SW updates, for example:

not sure but I think remote start have something to do with it, 
every time I remote start the car "Transmission Temp" gets deactivated

So you just set DID_00A1 to something like all FF's to try this?
