Semi new here. But I know enough that I should have this figured out. Can't get rid of this service message. Fully programmed otherwise from a 19 Acadia, put into my 18 Canyon. So I should have an idea what I'm doing. I'm thinking this adaptive cruise must be programmed into the cal files... It's not able to be removed. If someone is willing to take a look at my XML file and see if I've made an error, that would be awesome. Although, I don't feel I've made a mistake. But maybe you know something I don't? Thanks guys...

Simple attach XML used for programming. Cruise control type is selected during Setup and Configuration part. And simple u choice what type u have on your car

I can tell you that ACC is definitely in one of the CALs as well as the XML.  Did you use the original CALs or are you upgrading the cluster?  If you need, send me your CALs (or give me your VIN that cluster is being set to for options) and I'll flip the ACC flags off (there's two) in one of the calibrations.  It *should* be in the same location as mine but I'm happy to take a look.  I can definitely tell you, with my vehicle, it's in both (one CAL and the XML).

Sorry it took me while to get back. Been a busy week. Original VIN is 1GKKNPLS9KZ252221. My VIN is 1GTG6EEN0J1288984. Upgrading from a completely different vehicle. I knew it must be in the Cal file!! Thanks for your help!

I'm guessing you SPS programmed it with the donor VIN?  Or did you only change the VIN?  Either way, I'll see if I can get the calibrations and if they match up to the format that I know.

No worries, you obviously have DPS if you did the build :)?  I'm just looking at your files now and will see if I can build you a DPS archive.

Yes... Took me some time to understand XML and to know what I'm looking at. But I believe I understand it now. But reading those cal files looks like a different level. Reminds me of reading an eeprom chip. Which I still don't fully understand. You'll see I spaced the sections that I modded. Thanks again....

I've just checked it, it was turned on. 

 

- Go into Programming

- Select the file (do not rename it or it will break)

- Select pin 1 (same as you would have for the XML build)

- click the Program menu->Populate VIT2 Data

  - Enter your VIN

  - Click Populate VIT2

- Program

  - If the OS version is newer, this will take probably around 20-30 mins.  If it's the same, it should program pretty quickly.  Or anytime after.

 

Completely understandable! It took me a long time and tons of hours of work. I've built an application that allows me to build these quickly.

Yeah, the problem is it's on the low speed bus.  The OS doesn't seem to change too often so hopefully it's a quick one.  Let me know how it goes!

Nope, any folder is ok. It defaults to C:\Dpsarch but it doesn't matter. You can't rename it because the .tbl file inside the archive has to match.

You're very welcome! I'm glad that was it!  If you want to turn off TPMS, I can make you another build that does that if you switch to winters without sensors for example.  My winters don't have sensors and I got tired of looking at the light lol.

Ah it took me two seconds.  This one will turn of TPMS if you ever don't want to see it (winter tires).  If you want it back on, flash that other file back in (note: may have to enable in the pages menu)

It fills the VIN in once doing the writing *IF* the utility sends it (not all do).  For example, the HMI and Radio, you don't need to do this as it sends a different command.

I always write the vin in Get Controller info, in $90 and always worked to me OK. but, its ok knowing that too.
