anyone have a working type4 app with windows7? If so where is your sps/nativelibs/ folder ?

C:\Users\Admin\sps\nativelibs..........  I've just tried it on a Windows7 virtual machine and the Type4Application button is there and working but I do get an error every time I run a type4 app though.. usually use the type4 apps if needed from a clean windows 11 partition without any problems..

usually activated through the SPS \SPS2 program online \but here the problem is the activation itself on versions from 4.44 to version 4.48 and 449 has ended and the activation crack will not work because its time has ended, you need to work on a virtual machine

I’m not quite sure how you mean by that but is 4.46 going to work on a new install? I have 4.46 working on my desktop.

must be a way I’ve tried moving every folder and file over that I can think of from the one that works to the one that doesn’t nothing makes the tab appear!

ok how did you get it working on the windows 7? Could you share the virtual drive? I have version 4.46 dps windows 7 64 professional.

I can’t get sps to run on it to try and get the type 4 up either because mdi2 fails Bosch vci 9.1.1766.85 fails with error program crashed

It was a few months ago so not completely fresh in my head but I've never installed TLC on that VM, to get the tab to show up I'm sure it was just a case of manually creating a c:\YOUR USERNAME\sps\nativelibs dir containing the 2 required files.. Have you seen and tried @Troy's instructions and files for doing that..?  With pleasure I'd share my VM with you but its a huge file and still has other issues.. If nobody else has got you running today I'll be able to spend some time on it with you tonight when I'm back home..

Yes that’s all I did on my windows 10 vm and it worked perfectly however at some point I likely ran sps on that vm.
however that doesn’t seem to be working! Unless the files are different for windows 7 ?

I find when using Type4 apps all OS's display the dps tab using the same method and files Troy posted in the link above but under Win7 all apps end with a Type4App.dll error,  Under Win10 the Vcap app runs perfect but dps crashes running the odometer app whereas under Win11 everything thrown at it has ran without any problems... is it essential for you to have it running under windows 7 or just something that's bugging you because it won't..?

Well yes I just want windows 7, I had windows 10 it crashed so much and failed to get vit1 or vit2 data from controllers so wouldn’t allow programming on my vm MacBook.

now I have windows 7 on my MacBook which runs so much better after a big work around I have techline with all the latest updates

-minus last mdi2 update

-tech2 last update

it programs most modules except any chevy trax from 2015-2016 which is the vehicle I own I’m literally only getting errors reading data from any modules using my stock vin or any other trax vin. If I use a random vin from a Colorado or silverado it goes to download the calibration but fails to program because of vin mismatch!

What type 4 apps have you got to work?  I have mace Immo, brake learn , millage change work great.

but ipc, and bcm configuration is not working she’s missing files or build Congfig not found.  Looks like it nests several other type 4 apps togeather how to build like this?

otherwise it sorta works through ecu configuration with the xml. But that’s not as nice and graphical.

I work on vin 7 64 and on vin 10 64 \ previously there were no problems, but since April 7, problems have started on windows 7 64 after updating the TLS system, the binding to the choice of scanners disappeared as when choosing a program for diagnostics and also in sps 2 there is no window for choosing a scanner \\ but on windows 10 there is \\ true, I reinstalled vin 10 64 profi 1n then the numbers do not matter and the dps program itself works steadily

If you change j2534wrapper.dll

from older versions it will connect to scanner.

in C:/program files x86/gm/j2534wrapper.dll

But then somethings preventing it from sending or receiving vit2 data to and from the sever and you get error and crash.

do you know the last version numbers of everything that properly worked on windows 7 x64?

and do you have installers for them?
