Friend, you're absolutely right. Many units have received updates since TISs v32.

I'm not involved in the auto business at all, and I only work with my Astra J MY11.

My main task is to activate the TQ5 high beam function on my halogen headlights.

And this is only possible by directly editing the light calibration. I have a successful example with an Astra J MY12, but the BCM software is different. When opening these two calibrations, they are very similar, but there is a slight offset that I haven't figured out yet.

The guys on the "market" offer a paid solution, but I want to figure it out myself =)

This is possible, but you may get a ban on your Techline Connect account.

  • Yes, there is such a possibility. Only the CALs themselves are not there; they are stored cut into pieces in the _BLOB format. For that, in the database, if you change the HWID for HWNAME, then you ca

You are absolutely right, but the question was asked in a different way.

But I don't think there's a way to get an online calibration database with a single script.

Once you know the VIN and the desired RPO, it's as simple as ctrl+c calibration.

Until I got the VIN database, searching was very difficult.

Afterwards, I could find a similar car with the required RPO and get its calibrations.

I already tried it. It doesn't work.

The problem is that for my software version 13582622, TQ5 only worked for cars with xenon T4F headlights.

It didn't work with T4A headlights.

Version 13583945 already supports Astra J GTs with T4A and TQ5 headlights, but after upgrading the headlight calibration to 5D headlights, wiring changes are required for the daytime running lights and taillights to work properly.

@JohnCNY can you give any tips to connect to TIS2000 DB files?

@pupu14  What are you interested in? Maybe I can help you.

Hi,

I want to explore the contents of TIS2000 DBs with DbVis.. Reason is, GlobalTIS have only ~150Mb big NAO SPS DB, while TIS2000 have much fatter >1,0Gb file..

TIS2000 have much earlier version of TransBase that GTIS, so it seems like access login/pass does not match.
I have two Win7 VMs - one with GlobasTIS, the other with TIS2000. Both have DbVis installed and configured for Transbase JDBC driver.

@Arbe_gtc  Thanks for the tip!
I have successfully connected to the SPS DB.
I can browse everything, except it does not want to load table with BIN blobs...

Which version of tis are you testing? It works perfectly with Opel's Globaltis32 and tis2000 v91.

Hint: Look for BLOBs

I know what to do when DB is opened.
TIS2000 had different port, which Arbe have mentioned above - that solved the issue.

Now only need to sort BLOBS tab opening with an error... Will try to reinstall everything when I have some spare time.
