Hello, I was wondering if anyone had any help or guidance on how to remove the tpms system from a 17 chevy cruze. Im very new to all this and I'm trying to learn in my spare time. I also need to remove the active grill shutter from my car as well if someone could potentially help me figure that out as well. Thanks in advance.

  • Active grille shutters were controlled by an ECM, if no mistaken - so you should disconnect the plug and perform K20 ECU Setup & Configuration process in SPS (or with DPS)

I will see if I can get that figured out, thankyou!

I find the word "active" grill shutters helpful in my search of issues with a 22 envision. This would tell me the open/ close is monitored and I should make sure feedback is working properly ..... right now it is open circuit all the time . The hood is open circuit on purpose so it does not set the auto-start at every stop sign.

@Todrello
Btw, I was always curious - does this sets a visual alert on IPC and telltale sound when starting a drive, if hood ajar switch is disconnected?

Wish I had visuals/ sound. The radio HMI and IPC are blank /completely dark so could not say at this point. Also I should add no chime/sounds at all at anytime . This is the 22-23 envision with no comms between 7 modules. Thanks
