Activating window opening/closing via the key fob on a Chevrolet Cruze

Hello everyone. I came up with the idea of enabling remote window opening on the first-generation Chevrolet Cruze. Has anyone managed to do this? I compared the calibration files for the Cruze and the Mokka (specifically file no. 11) and made some changes. All the windows open using the remote, but only the front ones close.

Hi. Thanks—I’ll give it a try and let you know. It seems to me, though, that this isn't possible via software on the Cruze—based on the RPO codes:

AEF: Power window, passenger, express up/down

AEQ: Power window, rear doors, express down

...so I’d likely need to replace the rear window modules with automatic ones. Still, I’m going to give it a shot.

I got remote window down and up to kind of work on the 2nd gen Cruze.

I currently have 3 windows that go down with the remote and the option to turn it on and off in the radio menues.

I was struggling to find the drivers window byte so It only lowers the 3 windows.

Hi. Could you provide the RPO codes for the windows? And could you send me your files for comparison?

AED - WINDOW POWER OPERATED, PASSENGER, EXPRESS DOWN

AEQ - WINDOW POWER OPERATED, RR DRS, EXPRESS DOWN

There is options in the calibrations to open or close all the way or only when you hold the button on the remote.

Your BCM cals are going to be different from my 2nd Gen Cruze files

If possible, please send calibration file No. 11—both the version from before the changes and the one from after. I will examine the differences between the 1st and 2nd generation Cruze models.
