I would like to know if it's possible to enable cruise control by editing files on a 2015 GM Onix 1.0 manual vehicle with ECU E83 ABJT and body control module (BCM) 52100479 SOIC 95320W (from a vehicle with automatic transmission) from the Brazilian market. Originally, the BCM was 52085478 (Soic 95320W).

If so, what are the steps to activate it by editing files?

The hardware part was done by connecting the harness through the hard drive ribbon cable and going to pin 9 of the green connector X3 of the BCM 52100479, which came from an Onix 1.4 automatic LTZ with all the optional extras.

Following the same understanding of the harness connections, I connected the MyLink 2 sound control wiring to the same BCM, and it is active on the CAN network and working perfectly. Now, I want to activate the cruise control, if possible.

Need to flash BCM with correct calibration files (that have CC option).

ECU needs to be reconfigured (XML file), in some cases need to reflash cals too.

Maybe ABS module needs to be reconfigured too..

Unfortunately, in the Brazilian market at the time, the version with the 1.0 engine was not equipped with this option (k34).

There are some interfaces on the Brazilian market that perform this function without needing to interfere with other modules; you just need to connect it to the CAN network. That's why I thought of simply finding a way to edit the Soic 95320W by implementing the K34 variants in the file.

If you can get stock files for your car, at least - we can help to guide you...
