I am planning to buy a J2534 Pass-Thru interface for my Gen 2 Chevrolet Cruze 1.4T (J400). I am currently looking at ordering the VXDIAG VCX NANO (GM USB version) directly from a Chinese seller on AliExpress.

My intention is to use it alongside the great software packages shared in this community (GDS2 and GM DPS with offline patches). My main goals are:

1. Unlocking IPC hidden menus (Turbo Boost, G-Force, Oil pressure, etc.) by flashing edited XML files (Variant Coding) via GM DPS.

2. Performing standard diagnostics and occasional offline module updates/programming.

Can anyone who has used this specific AliExpress VXDIAG device confirm if it is stable and capable enough for these tasks? Will it handle the XML flashing properly, or do I strictly need to invest in a high-quality MDI 2 clone to avoid the risk of dropping connection and bricking my IPC?
