Hello everyone, I need to activate UJM on my 2011 Astra. I have a multi-line dashboard 13442459 installed, but unfortunately I don't have the correct calibrations for this dashboard. However, I have tried to edit calibration number 5 using the same method as with other dashboards. I have added a tire pressure tab, but the manual learning menu doesn't appear. I have also edited calibration 3 of the BCM, but I haven't been able to learn the sensors, even using diagnostic software. Then I tried to completely flash all the calibrations from the astra j gtc with the ujm option. And I was able to start the learning through gds2, but although the sensors were attached and showed 0 kPa (they are not installed in the wheels), there were still dashes on the dashboard. Therefore, as far as I understand, I did not adjust something in both the BCM and the IPC cases. Please tell me which calibrations are responsible for the option I need.

I rechecked the calibrations again, and I had some doubts: is it even possible to activate UJM on the 13582622 operating system? I compared calibrations 13388948 and 13388947. Without UJN and with UJN, respectively, I highlighted the bytes that change when the option is enabled, they are shown in the spoilers.
Then I analyzed the calibration of 13451847 from Astra j GTC 2014 with UJM. A similar BCM Continental unit is used there. Although the calibrations differ in overall size, I was able to identify similar fragments, and it seems to me that the bytes responsible for the UJM are the same. After transferring them to my calibration, I received a service TPMS system message, as well as error C0775, which is logical, because the sensors are not trained. But the learning process could not be started, even through GDS2. Hence, I have a question, maybe this software does not support this system at all, or maybe I'm just missing something.

If anyone has come across similar improvements, please tell me. I read that the TPMS system also needs to adjust calibration 2, but looking at the firmware for the UJN for its unit, the difference is only in the calibration of the chassis.

Perhaps you need to make adjustments to the instrument cluster calibration? Not just the BCM?

@bondarrenko I tried using full factory calibrations in bcm and ipc from astra 2014 with ujm, in which case the learning starts all over again anyway. I don't know what this behavior is related to, so I just adjusted the ipc to learn the sensors only via a PC.

@alatka asd If the file order was correct, the problem is most likely an operating system mismatch. Simply put, replacing the files won't do the trick. Open it in a hex editor, compare the original calibration with the UJM, and transfer the bytes.

Can you tell me which bytes I need to transfer? Unfortunately, there are a lot of differences.

@alatka asd I'm not familiar with the Bosch BCM, so I can't provide an exact solution.
