Hi Has anyone managed to enable the oil temperature reading on this small black screen so that it shows the real values in a 2016 Astra K 1.4 turbo 150 hp?

Is that a non-HMI radio by chance?

Ok, I saw that someone tried to install sensors but I don't know how it ended, I know that someone on a Polish forum boasts about doing it but I don't know how

There's no need to install additional sensors. Oil temperature is calculated by the engine control unit and transmitted to the gauges. I did this mod in a 1.4t Astra K, and it works.

Could you please describe how to do this? Does it require ECU programming because I have a map already made?

Do you mind sharing how? I have currently got an ESP32 reading the calculated temp from the ECM and replaying it the the cluster, it works on the bench but it's not pretty.

Need to test on the car but if it can just be coded even better - from my research it seems it's just masked by the BCM as the IPC get's the info?

I can check it out at my place if you tell me exactly what to do. I have my BCM files, so I can send them to you.
