I'm working on a K26 headlight module.

Initially, the SPS2 software showed that these calibrations were on my vehicle:

Current      →  Selected
84729301      →  84696811
84729299      →  84729299
Unrecognized cal.  →  849768037

But SPS2 could not program it.

So I built a DPS archive based on the VIN and successfully programmed these calibrations: 84696811, 84729299, and 849768037.

After programming, I'm getting headlight errors. I checked the DTC code and it says: "calibrations not programmed."

I went back to SPS, and now what I see on the programmed ECU is this:

• 84696811

• Unrecognized calibration

• 849768037

When retrieving calibrations for the VIN, I had to provide the end model part number, so I connected to ECU #72 via DPS and got the number.

What could I have done wrong?

Different RPO or security pin not changed

According to the utility file provided, this K26 module does not store any PIN code..

What is the J2534 tool you are using?
Also, seeing that this is a crashed vehicle, there may be some interference or wiring damage on GMLAN bus (however, there should have been a DTC code, at least). I would try to program this module again with DPS outside of vehicle.

I'm using genuine GM MDI2.
You right. The car was crashed and fixed. The headlamp was replaced matching the part number, even more the headlamp module (not K26) was also swapped with mine.
I had no issues or errors with the headlight before programming.

Unfortunately I cannot program it outside the vehicle as I don't have a bench.
