In short got screwed by the dealer, and they said it's impossible to add those features...

their solution was to install a crappy aftermarket alarm that I absolutely hate, that tells me the components are there,

but again they say using factory remotes won't work and can't be done,

as far as I know the tire pressure monitoring module is the same as the remote receiver, but when I tried using SPS2 there is no option to add remotes / fobs

Is there a factory alarm option? I can't find anything in the Electronic parts catalog. It doesn't even look like a "Global A" platform, and it doesn't seem to have evolved much since 1996...

they started Global A in 2015, and it's still like that

there is a factory option for keyless and remote start, RPO: "ATG / BTV"

my older 2022 van had it, and it was easy to program new remotes, by simply using the LCD in the gauge cluster info / setup... the current 2025 cluster looks identical as does the BCM, leading me to believe the dealer fd-up, as I specifically requested those options when ordering that van...

I did buy and look through the course that Troy offers the IPC one i'll give it a shot over the weekend and see where the rabbit hole takes me!

i'm pretty sure this is the part GM Part # 84922494, but would need to double check that,

also worth noting that I'm able to lock/unlock & start using the OnStar app, which tells me the components are there... only thing i'm not sure of if the remote control door lock receiver is there, but as far as i'm aware it's the same as the TPMS which is present

The system is still like the old one since 2007, everything is the same. Your RCDLR  number is 20863945 and BCM number is 84922494, which means you can program (K77 & K9 ) using the previous VIN with SPS and use a remote that operates on 315 frequencies. Then, using GDS2 or TECH2, -> RCDLR -> add the remote
