GM GDS2 Infinite Lease File

GM GDS2 software version that will work with the Infinite Lease File

I have a member who's trying to install ACDelco's GDS2 infinite lease. The previous folder that stored the licence file is no longer there. Does anyone have info about it? I haven't used ACDelco's GDS2 in a long time, so I can't check my PC.

Ok the new locations is C:\Users\Your_Username\GM\TLCProxy\Leases\.dls\GDS2

The old infinite lease file doesn't work on the new GM GDS2.

I am not sure if this is a bug or what, but even though it shows No valid lease found and big Diagnostics button is disabled, I noticed that if I press on the "Connect vehicle" on the left, it actually lets me in and GDS works perfectly. I have not paid for GDS for years now.

 

And the second thing is, if I launch (acdelcotds) SPS, and then run GDS, it would show over 2,000 days of valid lease. So strange.

Did you put the infinite lease files in the place or is it the oem lease files in the folders?
If i launch form acdelco it shows i have 3 days remaining. 

If i launch TLC and launch standalone mode it will show me 29days? 

I havent had it on a vehicle yet to test but will have one this evening.

Unable to answer this question with confidence, even if I did, that would've been years ago. If there's a way to check, let me know. But this folder is empty.

Infinite lease does not work if you have ACdelco Techline Connect installed and use SPS but they have changed how GDS2 works in that if you have valid vehicles they renew GDS2 for 29 days everytime you login - at least they do on mine logging into the USA from Australia. 

If you want the old GDS2 then you need to put it on a seperate computer of make a VMware image and install manually and then the infinite lease still works just like always but you will be limited eventually as you will need the newer version at some point when you start working on later vehicles.

They are standard lease files they are not infinite lease files generated by the keygen.

Is that correct or are you asking people to share lease files in the hope they work on multiple computers?

 

Anyway I replaced mine with yours and no valid lease and then put mine back and 29 days so that will not work.

Actually that was to show new location, but i will share tomorrow files which shows more then 2000 days

Ok I already knew new location so was not sure what the point was.

You do realise that the lease data is encrypted to your computer and chance of it working on another computer are very small.

 

Update I just copied the lease files from one laptop to the other laptop and they don't work so using someone elses .lease files is not going to work for anyone hoping it might.

yes me and Troy seen there are 2 file paths for the lease files

and as uglyoldbastard said they are encrypted and also takes away the 29days if you move the leases around. 

I guess for now there is no way around it unless someone can crack the encryption. 

You can do a VMWare install of the old version and use that until you need something newer but at least if you use SPS and have one non used VIN you can log in once a month and get another 29 days as your account will never expire with a unused VIN

Yes that is the earlier version so you do not want to upgrade from there.

22.7.02100 - later version 2100

22.7.01500 - earlier version 1500

You have to go back to version 22.7.01500 to get the lease to work and do not upgrade past there.

If you use Techline Connect then you can upgrade and you need to login to TLC to get the lease renewed but you need an account that is ongoing.

I am unable to login to Techline at the moment. Where do I find the older version so I can at least use GDS2?

You must not have logged in for quite while to TLC as the version has changed 3 or 4 times in the past 8 months
