This is truly great. Thank you.

  • You are COOL!! Tnx very much

  • ? @loom.   I created a bench setup recently.  It took me some weeks to sort it. It was pain to get the HMI to speak on the HS-can line.  In the end I learnt some stuff about it. For the HMI,

What is the continental folder?

That was a typo. When using techline connect the files will be placed in the spscashe folder called "spscasheinternal"

@raku_og

Did you manage to sort that error? Because I have the same error. The archive is correctly made according to the instructions. I try all the tricks that I know, but the same error.

Hello,

Most probably your DPS archive is incorrect.
For HMI 2.5 first CAL file should actually have index 02, instead of 01, and so on.
Use GDS2 and online TIS to determine and cross-reference actual index number for each CAL.

Edit: You can send me your CAL files and VIN (or screenshot from TIS for K74 HMI), and I can prepare an archive for you!

Thank you, very much for your answer. After 2 days of work I sorted myself with a custom dtm file for this. In rest, nobody told me, what I can do. I helped also @raku_og with the same error. But he has more issues...

Kind regards

Yes I resolve with custom dtm but I have this isue:

What I notice is if I am in P mode then the camera and HMI switch ok, but when I exit from P mode it turns black then blue and then exit....I put the video to make it simple to understand.

Hi, I've tried to create an archive with every module that I could because I've already paid the SPS subscription for an hour, the last one was the EBCM witch didn't work and gave me an error, now the communication with the EBCM is completely deed, I've trayed with SPS and the Archive I've made with DPS a couple of times without success, is the module deed, showed I replace it or is there an other way to recover it?
Any help wound be appreciated.

The EBCM is not showing on the mapping matrix.

Did you try disconnecting the vehicles battery for a few seconds?

Seems like it’s dead. Usually calibration files don’t brick a module.

The solution for a use EBCM is to change VIN and PIN, then program it via SPS so it get the correct configuration for the vehicle you're installing it into.

Hi,

I've tried to follow the guide for creating a DPS achieve from SPS cache and I've ran into a few issues... First thing is that when I pull the SPS cache, the extension of the files are .file instead of .bin. The second thing is that is that TIS2Web lists 20 calibration files for the BCM while the cache has 22 files. Is it possible to have 2 utility files? How do I know which of the 2 extra files is the utility file? Lastly, I tried with DPS to create a achieve but when I try to flash, I get a "this is not a valid GMLAN achieve" error. I followed the steps in the PDF to a tee. Any suggestions?

Thank you!

Hi thank you. It's 1G6RM1E43EU142598 and I'm trying to get calibration files for B218L Side Object Sensor Module - Left  I was able to identify the utility files and create the achieve but I keep getting "this is not a valid GMLAN achieve. I'll upload the archive that I created. Please let me know if there's something I did wrong. Thank you so much!

I should also add that I'm trying to retrofit this system to my car. My car's actual vin number is 1G6RL1E4XEU600608. I was hoping to create the DPS achieve and input my car's vin to "get controller info" screen and then flash to my car. Will this work or will I need to edit my utility file to match my car's vin? Thanks

You get that error "this is not a valid GMLAN achieve" because the files are still compressed.

Use 7zip to uncompress the 3 files then use those files to create the DPS archive. Always uncompress whatever files sps gives you before you create the archive, it doesn't matter if it's a .file .bin.

Here are the uncompress files, use them to create the archive.
