It is now possible to change the VIN and program General Motors Global-B UDS VIP 12-byte seed security electronic modules using the GM DPS tool. This is an excellent option for those who want to replace a faulty GM Global-B module in their vehicle by recycling a used module purchased from a scrap yard or eBay. More info to follow later.

I'm unsure, as I know very little about the tuning side of the ECM. I mainly focus on methods for recycling GM car parts.

Yeah true, I should. That would really get GM pissed off more than how they're already pissed at me and this website 😀.

Before 2021, there was no info on the web for how to use DPS, change VIN and PIN with DPS, XML files RPO code edit with DPS, offline programming with DPS, change vehicle mileage with DPS, Type4 file programming with DPS, unlocking radios with DPS, among other things. All the info you now see scattered all over the web pertaining to DPS was made possible by me and this website. All those wannabe geniuses you see on those other platforms pretending to be GM DPS experts learned the Art/Craft from me and this website. Some of them who are Jealous/Envious/Haters come to this website, learn, take and then bad-mouth me and this website.

That is not a problem, as the few who have known me from day one, from mhhauto.com days before they deleted all my posts there and gave my email to GM, knows that I am the KING when it comes to GM DPS hacking and providing info for hacking GM electronic modules.

But yeah, it's a lot of fun playing with Global-B. I may publish my findings soon.
