Hello dear friends! I own a 2020 Chevrolet Trailblazer VIN MMM156MB7LH639522, it has the function of lowering the windows when the doors are opened. Is it possible to disable this feature programmatically? Thank you!

Hello, It's look like you had a bad DPS package that results in a "bricked" BCM (Don't worry, it can be restored) In case you are unable to restore, I've attached the DPS package that is downloaded

Is there no setting in your car to enable/disabling?

You mean it automatically lowers windows on just a single click of unlock button?

Usually it takes a bit longer input.. You need to push and hold. And if you let go at any moment, windows stop rolling down/up.

When you open the door, the window opens a little, when you get into the car and close the door, the window closes

Then there is certainly a good reason to do so! Probably to not hurt occupant's eardrums each time a door closes..

Same with cars with frameless windows - they go up/down each time you open/close door - to seal better.

If you don't like - buy another car..

I like this car and my question was whether it is possible to disable this function or not? If you don’t know the answer, then you might as well not answer.

remove battery cable for 1 minute and put back after 1 minute, now window will not go up or down unless you sync window switch according to manufacture instructions.

i hope this is right answer which you wanted to hear.

I heard about this solution, thank you. But I would like to know if it is possible to disable it programmatically. Other GM specialists write that it is impossible, so I decided to ask on this forum.

i can't answer this question now, if can send me BCM calibration files from SPS then i can answer after looking possibilities in it

сейчас я не могу ответить на этот вопрос. Если вы пришлете мне данные о выполнении BCM из SPS , тогда я смогу ответить, посмотрев в них возможности.

Sorry, but I don't have access to SPS

Good evening! I downloaded the BCM calibrations, you can see if it is possible to disable the window lifter opening function.

Hi friend! Did you have time to look at the BCM files I uploaded above?

I'll continue the topic. After swapping the control units between the front left and rear left doors, the rear window started rolling down when I opened the rear left door. The unit numbers were the same. Is it possible that these units have different firmware? Or do the calibrations in the BCM somehow access these units by numbers? If I compile a DPS file from the calibrations and paste the contents of calibration 84891674 into calibration 84891668 using a HEX editor, correct the checksum, and program the BCM, will it work?

Let's continue))) So, after making minor calibration changes under number 84891668, after flashing the firmware, an error occurs and the BCM is not read correctly. After making the calibration changes, I also adjusted the checksums through the service, but that didn't help. I also tried doing it without changing the checksums. Am I doing something wrong? Can anyone suggest anything? In programlog_ok there is a log of normal firmware, and in programlog_error it is after flashing the edited calibration

Hello,

It's look like you had a bad DPS package that results in a "bricked" BCM (Don't worry, it can be restored)

In case you are unable to restore, I've attached the DPS package that is downloaded from what you've sent.

In regards of disabling the "window opener", I have not experienced it. But I am sure it is possible in some ways..

For example, Astra J and Cascada are pretty much "identifical" model, with cascada being a Convertable so it does have this feature. I am not sure if it is achievable for Trailblazer but I am certain there is a byte somewhere that can disable it.

Continuing, it turns out that whatever was loaded into the BCM, I loaded the 2013 calibrations specifically for the window lifts, and completely flashed the BCM from an Equinox. The windows still open, so the problem isn't with the BCM firmware, but with the units themselves. Now I need to figure out how these door units are flashed; apparently, the only way is by directly reading the flash memory. I don't know if the video file will load or not. This is a flashed BCM from Equinox. The BCM won't turn on, but the windows keep opening.

Interesting... Have you checked on the techline to see if there is a "comfort" module aka this specific part?

I wrote to the US, they sent me to Thailand, from Thailand they redirected me to Kazakhstan, and I know our people, they don't always know which side to approach the car from)))
