Insignia xenon headlights to halogen bcm config

Featured Replies

Good evening,

I'm wondering if anyone could help changing bcm configuration to halogen from xenon on a 2011 vauxhall insignia.

I believe cars with xenon have a headlight control module but halogen cars are controlled from bcm only, the wiring side I should be able to figure but the bcm configuration I could do with some help if possible.

Thankyou liam.

Blessed is he who believes!
Firmware alone will not solve this
at least redo the wiring
You may have to replace some blocks
are you ready for this?

Hi yes I need firmware to be able to redirect wiring from headlight control module to the bcm, also I have lots of errors on the instrument cluster

Hi everybody still no better off but I've looked into the wiring diagrams,it looks like the light control module only controls the adjustable motors for adaptive lighting, wiring for dipped and main beam come direct from bcm,so in theory should work? I'm going to loom at the headlight connector see if the wires are in the correct pins,I have dipped headlights but no side lights as the original was a drl led type.

At this point in thinking of telling customer to get his hand in his pocket for new original headlights

I beleive there is quite a few differences in wiring, headlamp switch is also different and IIRC there is a sensor on the rear suspention too.
