Hello everyone, 

 

Can anyone help me identify this chip on a 2019 Buick Enclave IPC?

Its the 8in IPC, trying to select the correct ID chip to read the data so I can change the VIN and PIN for my 2019 Chevrolet Traverse.

The one printed numbers it has are 16H 9017.

As for hardware I'm using is a XGecu T48 with its software Xgpro v12.57 with the adapter and clamp so I don't have to remove the chip from the board.

Are there any other 8-pin chips on the board? Post photos of the full board, both top and underneath.

Yes, your photo shows the correct EPROM chip. However, it seems GM used an OEM EPROM chip that doesn't have a trackable part number on your board.

The 8-inch IPC from the insignia has the same layout circuit board. So I assume the EPROM chip that's used in the insignia board could be the same as yours. 

You can try using this part number from the insignia to read your EPROM chip."ST 95160RT or ST 95160

I did follow that specific thread to finding the chip which I figured it should be the same. Let me try to read it with selection and see if I get the data out of it.

Now to find the VIN and PIN to change it and try it out.

Got in displaying the milage on it. Changed the VIN but not the PIN. I thought I had the card somewhere when I bought my Traverse but couldn't find it.

Will leave it as is for now. Need to figure out how to enable the transmission temp gauge, get the PRNDL to display next to the compass and have a Service Adaptive Cruise Control so my foward collision ain't working. But willing to add the module once i get ahold of one so no biggie.

 

Took apart the stock IPC to recover the PIN but the board is way different and it only had 1 8 Pin chip, searched the numbers on google. It showed that is was use for the LIN Communication its a NXP 1021T 1c B8 09 n6824 are the numbers it has.

Can you please drop that eeprom backaup here? URGENT!!!

Those are different from that 2019 one

those do not accept writing to the chip on gprog
