As OnStar stop working in EU/UK, I start one retrofit to make it with external sim and use as hot spot in car. Problem is where need US calibration to unlock functions. Anyone to help me if is possible?

no, I need OnStar - Telematic communication control module. may be in US have different name. Is device connect car to your MyBuick app and allow you remote control on some car features and give you option to call SOS or Buick assistance.

ye, that what I need as in EU/UK is disabled with OTA, so need to flash manually and try to enable external SIM and use as hotspot.

@WSOpel so flash last night both files, but not change to Global A, left as Standard. Nothing change, still not show LTE coverage. Like SIM is not enabled. I have WiFi hotspot option and is active and have option to connect OnStar to my home WiFi. Looking how to enable external SIM. I got modification inside in module.

 

P.S. Images is from other car, but OnStar module is same. So no idea what need to done more. If you want I can share link to forum where is posted.Internet without OnStar with any 4G LTE SIM card 2.pdf

how to flash a telematics module on a 2023 Cadillac for add a eSIM for add internet onboard? On my country we have onstar service but don’t install on cars purchased outside to dealership

You have to solder an Normal sim into it
