Finally I have changed both CPUs and read by DPS again and nothing changed, the VIN and software are the same....this is very strange  where the info goes in?

1: you have empty board now chek if there are eeprom on the back side of original broken  !! strange both chip have internal eeprom

2: connect with diag ensure if is not issue of gm software cache !!

3: change computer reinstall software in a clean system !!

bon courage mon ami c dure de changer le SPC sans faute 😄

You may need do to a TCM adaptation via SPS.

P0905: Gate Select Position Circuit Range/Performance OBD-II Trouble Code

The GSP sensor/gate select position sensor sends an electrical signal to the ECU and TCM to let it know what gear has been selected with the shifter. If this sensor is not performing within the pre-programmed parameters, a P0905 DTC will be saved.

Problem is with transmission range sensor, misalignment between actual and desired position, nothing to do with tcm unless its built in part of tcm, i will try to send brief details, sorry i can't answer today i will reply tomorrow

Problem with this TCM where is not same for that car. To load files manually need to have all calibrations and load them with dps (if TCM allow you). There no need to virginise old box to reflash. Just get it loaded original files.

Finaly, the  car was repaird, to clone you need to make hole and resolder an epprom, the error is from the magnetic sensor of the piston in the mechanic part, there ir  rubbers that shoud be changed. Thanks to all

Ok, the TCM module can be cloned by changing the epprom located on the back side of the board, and you need to make a hole to change it.

The other problem most gearboxes from that type have is a pistons position sensor, it is a magnetic type, and the oil seal that lose a pressure.

I hope that can help a someone

Cloning TCM is easy to do by programming, then need to be configured. I do couple auto boxes and never read eeprom to edit VIN number.

Поздрави! 😉

Yes, but the original was broken, I changed both CPUs but the epprom was back side, than calibration only

@shgatev as I say, no need old gearbox, just need to be reprogrammed with SPS, that will relearn VIN and make configuration.

SPS said that the module was incompatible, cant be programed. Thats why I  changed the CPU....
