Check if dps can read the TCM info. The TCM ECU ID is: 18

Do not have DPS. If I donate on this Site , can I download the Free DPS 4.44.

Did you source the replacement TCM from a similar model car that is using the same GearBox and TCM?

Yes the TCM I got was from 2010 Daewoo Lacetti 1.8 and has 6T40 Gen 1 TCM.

I have a 2011 Chev Cruze 1.8 6T30 Gen 1  TCM. ( Lacetti same as Cruze ).

On SPS if I do s Setup & Configuration on the TCM , I get the Cache files in the Dir, and Build files in Type 4 Dir.

Those files won't help. You could try edit calibration files and change the hardware id, but you will need a set of calibration files to do that with dps.

 

Is it possible to get Calibration files from SPS.

If you have the VIN for the used TCM, you could use that VIN with sps to get the calibration files, then edit the Hardware ID in those files to get the files you need.

My SPS is for 1 VIN of car only, I have the VIN of bricked TCM, but do not know if bricked TCM is recoverable, if not I bought SPS extra VIN for nothing. Catch 22.

Got a spare working TCM with valve body,2016 Astra , but its a GEN 3 partnr 24275318, VIN WOLBD6EC8GG101208.

Looks the same and fit on box.Do not think you can swap GEN1 and GEN 3 TCM's.Lacetti is GEN1 but Bricked with programming by Agents.

I don't know. The TCM which I know about that's in the insignia and Buick Regal 2015 does not store a vin number and it can be swapped with out issues. Maybe your TCM that stores a VIN is different.

If you can read the TCM info using DPS that means the TCM is not bricked.

Yes, I now see that some TCM like the one in the insignia does not store a vin, however other cars does store a TCM vin.
