You can try it on the bench, but it's best to program it in the vehicle with all the other modules connected. The VIN is pulled from the DPS "get controller info" VIN input.

I don't have pre-made files for the 5-byte Equinox. You will need to send me the Equinox EBCM calibration files via private message so I can use them to create the VIN change file.
