Has anyone retrofitted a gearbox steering wheel paddle shift to an Insignia before? I saw a steering wheel with paddle shift for sale, and I'm wondering if it's a direct swap to an automatic insignia or what would be needed to retrofit it to my car.

BCM calibration change only if i remmember

write engine, gearbox RPO, year, and i will find VIN with WZI

I've done a couple of these retrofits, you just need 1 wire and a BCM programming. WZI is in powertrain cal. :)

For BCM Powertrain calibrations that are 0x043F bytes:

Write 8A at 0x02E2
Write 01 at 0x037F

I haven't been able to test this on my personal projects yet so I'd be happy if someone would test this and report back.

At some point I'd like to figure out which bytes/flags enable TUTD for Powertrain Calibrations that are 0x03CF bytes.

I have on my Insignia B, if you share your VIN, I might be able to source you calibration and you figure out which bytes to swap. Needed 1 wire from back of spring clock cable to BCM.

Has anyone tested this in an Astra K?? A friend of mine is planning such a modification.
