I have one Silverbox module wich stuck at boot logo cant react to anything. Tried SPS not help usb method not help cant run update file. I think EMMC dead.
I see the modul front there is a 4 pin white connector what is that? External usb port or UART? I want to check in PuTTY the boot log. Is that possible? Can i repair the emmc file system and use it to new emmc chip?

It is possible to repair the software from usb update files? Anyone has raw img for emmc? Or any possible method to force update over dps or uart commands? First i have to find UART port.

Hi, post some photos of the module and connector ports.

I have an RAW dump from the EMMC. The Uart is not on the 4 Pin connector. I dont know what is on this port. The Uart is on the PCB. But to restore the EMMC you have to desolder it.

I shoot some pictures i see an external eeprom 24c256 near spc550 i think sps update this mcu and chipset to boot the system up and store vin locked datas.

I have installed my radio in my car and i dont took pictures from the uart Pins. But if your device is in bootloop the eeprom does not help. In this is the vin and i think the calibrations stored. The emmc is on the top side ic501. You will need this kind of adapter to read and write the Chip. And you need Expertise in bga soldering. I can Look up the uart pins and you can Post your bootlog.

BGA works is not problem i think i have this kind of adapter. Yes the eeprom is not help in this case i think too. Can you send me the raw file i give it a try. The files from bolt or ampera? If i manage to read all raw file from my emmc can you look up ,or it is dead end?

I dont know. Its an 32GB emmc i think a new one will work to but i dont try this

This looks like the EPROM chip, which could be your issue. You could try dumping it to see its contents.

Yes this is the eeprom. The vin and calbs are stored there. But the linux boot loader is strored on the emmc. In qnx6 Format. Took me some time to extract this :D

I desolder emmc and plug to place there is no logo no backlight on control panel. Warning Sound and heating works ok.

You need to Flash my raw dump with Linux dd on the New emmc

The Sounds came from the Co prozessor so that whene the linux system is not fully booted you have sounds and wanings. The display ist complet controlled over the linux soc

I ordered another usb to emmc report back next week. You prefer comand line extract or can i use app like etcher?

I prefere comamd line and linux. I have not try with etcher but i think it should work.

The Micron emmc on my board marked JY001 mask that stand 4gb capacity. Interesting. Or misinformation MTFC4GACAJCN-4M

There is a test point %usb+-otg+-slave+-ctl% mark when it pulled to ground the unit go into slave mode and diag over usb on PC? I measure that 4 pin connector front of the module. if it has 5v tx rx gnd that is usb port.

That sounds interesting. I dont seen this pad. So ist dont tryed it yet.

i dont know what was the upper connector uart or usb. the lower line goes to car front usb ports.
