Hello all I need help changing vin on sdm module on a 2023 gmc 2500 I have tried several times with sps but it fails I had to change the vin on ecm bcm etc tdue to a programmer getting pluged in that changed the vin and now i need waranty work and have to have the vins back origional and this is the only one left to change thanks in advance I have dps and team viewer and sps and gds on my computer

If your 2023 Sierra 2500 is a Global-A 5-byte seed vehicle, the file linked in the web link below can be used to change the VIN in the SDM. You will be able to change the SDM VIN using DPS on your own.

From the DPS logs. It states that the SDM VIN change file you purchased is not compatible with that SDM.

I can create the correct SDM VIN change file, but I will need you to provide me with the SDM calibration files.

Use the DPS "get controller info" option to read the VIN in that SDM, then use that VIN in the GM SPS service to get the correct calibration files and send the files to me via private message. The SDM DPS ECU ID for reading the VIN is:58
