2020 Trailboss 6.2 bcm issues help?

Featured Replies

Joined this site hoping someone could possibly help me out. Trying to get to get shift parameters to work on my trailboss custom 6.2 I plugged a bcm out of a LT trailboss which has the diff modes. Needless to say they still wouldn’t show on my high country cluster that I installed through WAMS. But upon doing so it caused some issues I can’t sort out like my mileage in cluster just has a line through it now and U18B4 code can bus issue. And i lost communication with the brake monitor. C116B. I have a GM mdi tool and sps2 tried to program the bcm again (figured corrupted) but it goes to odometer part on the write and fails everytime. Also still have donor bcm.Truck also lost communication with onstar won’t update anything in the app but remote start still works. Looking for any ideas or help scratching my head here….

  • Check this post for more info about the odometer The codes could be from the BCM having the incorrect calibrations for your truck.

  • This youtube video explains it very well IMO.

VIN and PIN in donor BCM are incorrect to start is my guess.

If you drove with the donor BCM installed the Odometer will be locked out

Would that be causing these codes aswell? Could sps2 or awin2tech clear the cluster? So it can communicate again? Thanks

So you have all the tools to fix the issue.  You just need DPS, SPS, and do some reading

My original bcm is back installed still getting these errors. Thinking it corrupted it?

copy eeprom 95320 or equivalent of orig bcm to donor bcm,, then reprogram bcm thru sps2,, it will do program to match all calibration

How would 1 do that? Dps I assume? Never used dps that would be all new to me. Familiar with sps+ but open to trying diff stuff. Turns out no bcm corruption just locked out my cluster above post by BLKATSG pointed me in right direction and contacting original programmers of my cluster who were very helpful and knowledgeable working with me on my screwup lol. Thanks

open bcm, find ST95320 swap or read by any ordinary eeprom reader,, or edit eeprom change pin and vin then reprogram thru sps2,, the very important is bcm must be match to unit VIN,, odometer easy change(DPS),, rado theft lock , easy unlock(DPS) instrument pane easy vin change(DPS)
