Hello, I am thinking about purchasing the GM DPS, and I was wondering if the tool could change the VIN in the k73 module. 

 

I have a 2014 CTS and just installed a K73 module from a 2017 CTS, I have Onstar functionality, but the VIN is incorrect. Looking to update it if possible.

    SPS should change it without issue.

    It won't I have tried. the 2014 Module is 2g/3g the 2017 is 4G and a different part. I purchased another vin slot since I have the donor cars vin, and I can see the programming code in the K73, but when I view the module as my car vin, I get an Unknown Calibration. Each time I try to push, it fails to communicate or write.

    That I missed. But mobile module usually is different part of whole onstar, at least here in UK
