Can you save the log and upload it?  Looking at it quickly, I'd guess the wrong security algorithm is entered.  Also what module are you programming (assuming IPC)?

I agree.  I'm trying to get more detail of what they're doing is what I meant.  They may be using the wrong XML or maybe customized one but the algorithm is entered incorrectly.  I've decoded the VIN, it's a 2013 but we can see the security access failed in the screenshot.  Just want to know if they're trying something custom.

Yes, I'm a way from the car will send the log file ASAP,  you are correct because the SPS gives me an error on getting the XML file from the IPC module

The security access was correct in the log, but probably your XML is not for you vehicle:

- XML Configuration Compatibility ID inconsistent with ECU

Yep, I see that too.  Security access did pass now seeing the log, it read the DID and aborted right away. 

 

So, when it queried that DID, the IPC responded 000D, that XML says it wants 0008.  I have a few Impala ones that are 0008, but interesting, 2014 GMC Sierra 000D that would technically match.  I could share it, it should work with your build file, I'm just wondering:  It almost makes me think that cluster has been changed.  I don't know what the cluster options were for that.

Sure!  Question though......  Are you swapping clusters and that's why you need to?  Or, just trying settings?  I'm leaning we should backup the current configuration before you program it.

 

 

Note, the attached XML, you'll need to correct the security algorithm to yours.

Thank you again for your quick reply, yes, I'm swapping the cluster but when you mentioned backup is there a way to backup and restore module info or configuration?

I guess you have more xml files available than my 2012 offline Global TIS ever have. I queried the Global TIS database on sql level for xml files.

I got tons of xml files for all kind of ECMs, but the limit is the year 2012.

That All Wheel Drive flag is flipping a bit on the 3rd byte (under FF) - it's not super easy to calculate:

This 3rd FF value would be modified depending on the setting.  Since it's FF currently, it would be 11111111.  If you removed the All Wheel Drive, it would become 11110111 (F7) - Note - I might have this backwards lol, going off memory.

Is because file is edited incorrectly. Then steps to get granted access is not follow and throw you out with no access. Is good to state make, model and year.
